In short, you will need:

• Any PC or laptop running Windows, OS X or Linux desktop as your workstation;
• Dedicated Internet connection;
• Notebook and a pan for note taking (Evernote or Microsoft OneNote will be even better) (highly recommended);
• 2+ Gb USB flash drive or a DVD-R drive (optional);
• Server computer or a dedicated PC (optional);
• Dedicated static IP address (optional).
