This course is for beginners and intermediate users who want to establish a strong foundation in operating systems ... namely, Windows and Linux. The class was designed to provide awareness of functional concepts and techniques along with security concepts. There is no need to take notes while watching the 3 hours of video because I provide a reference guide which is organized for quick reference to all the material.
Whether your goal is to be a software developer, web developer, system administrator, information security tester, or to improve your general computing skills; you will benefit greatly by establishing a strong skill set in operating systems.
My original degree was in mechanical engineering and I have an MBA. However, I have worked in information technology for the last fifteen years. For the last five years I have worked as a security tester, and before that a functional and performance tester. I've really enjoyed working in the IT field, and would now like to share some of the things I've learned along the way to help others out.
